Ford just announced plans to completely transform one of their plants into a "modern, flexible small car plant."

Ford will “recycle” their Michigan SUV plant into a factory with a majority of their production being the small Focus in 2010, and an electric version of the Focus in 2011. This will serve to help Ford to meet its promise of 4 electric vehicles by 2012.

We are so happy to report that Ford is putting $550 million behind this initiative and change for the better. This is truly a reflection of the economy and the increasingly green state of the modern world.
