Instead of the mass quantities of greasy, unhealthy hot dogs, beer, popcorn and candy that is synonymous with sporting events, Yankee Stadium has officially taken a step into the health world!

Over the weekend a small fruit stand called "Farmer’s Market" was featured at the famous stadium where people were given a healthier option with less waste that the packaging that goes along with all the junk food normally consumed at games.

There is talk to place these fresh fruit stands at other stadiums around the country. We hope this idea takes off!
