David de Rothschild on Good Morning America Friday August 10!

David de Rothschild was scheduled to appear on GMA today (Thursday August 9) but the interview has been rescheduled due to severe weather in the northeast. Look for him tomorrow morning!  The official Live Earth book – The Live Earth Global Warming Survival Handbook -- is in bookstores all across the country NOW!

Live Earth Book Cover

Proceeds from the book will be given to the Alliance for Climate Protection, the beneficiary of the Live Earth concerts. Author David de Rothschild (one of People Maganize's recent featured bachelors!) will be on Good Morning America tomorrow to discuss the book and his work to stop the climate crisis. Stop by your local bookseller and pick up a copy!

Green note: The book uses vegetable-based inks printed on Revive 100 Offset, a 100% post-consumer waste paper stock with Forest Stewardship Council certification.

You can order a copy at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com. Let’s make this a best-seller!

The Live Earth Global Warming Survival Handbook presents 77 essential skills for stopping climate change-and for living through it. But this is no ordinary "77 Things You Can Do to Save the World." The Global Warming Survival Handbook is a fun, compelling, and sly deconstruction of a survival guide, teaching us not simply how to change a light bulb, but how to change the way we live-all with a great sense of humor, a grain of salt, and real science to back it up. Think of it as the Boy Scouts Handbook crossed with World Changing: A User's Guide for the 21st Century atop the Worst Case Scenario Survival Handbook.

I live in a city that is still recovering from the largest disaster in US history. There is so much trash here left from the storm. I think the government should definitely encourage recycling laws in this city, especially now.
