Live Earth has inspired many groups and organizations around the world to take action and to make a difference one way or another. About a month ago, Live Earth ran across an article that announced that a small town in New York, Greenville, NY to be specific, was hosting a Live Earth event. Everyone here at Live Earth has been thinking about the year that's passed since our concert events last summer. In the intervening time "green" has become part of the international conversation, and of course Al Gore and the IPCC shared the Nobel prize for their work on climate issues.

Both of these holidays are a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the parents (and grandparents) in your life. Tell us about the recycled materials craft project you're working on for your Mom, or the special breakfast you'll be cooking for her using organic, local ingredients. Some of you may be looking for green gifts; we'd love to hear your suggestions for those, too.
