I do believe, someday, the earth is going to be destroyed. I believe we will have an Apocalypse!!! People drive two blocks to get to their mailboxes; every child in every home has their own car to go to school, surface mining, sinkholes, artic ice disappearing; what does it take to make people understand they are destroying the earth. Maybe gas ration tickets, like during WWII, which I rmemeber, would make people think twice about running to the grocery store 4 times a week or even twice a day. We need to be free of the middle East for oil. Such an intelligent country and no one wants to sacrifice any ammenities to help save the earth. Forget about wars as there won't be any earth anyway.

I have a friend who just build a 6,000 square foot home up North. They have 2 children at college and 1 at home. Even the junior in High School has her own car. They live here full time (th South) and go to Michiga occassionally. Why do they need to have 2 big homes? Why do they need to have 5 cars in the family (and 3 of them are gas guzzlers?

I am so concerned about our planet that some nights I can't sleep thinking about what we are leaving for my grnadchildren.
