The official Live Earth book -- The Live Earth Global Warming Survival Handbook -- was officially announced yesterday by our publisher Rodale Books.

The book goes on sale June 26 for $14.95, and will have an initial first print of 200,000 copies! Proceeds from the book will be given to the Alliance for Climate Protection, the beneficiary of the Live Earth concerts.

Green note: The book will use vegetable-based inks printed on Revive 100 Offset, a 100% post-consumer waste paper stock with Forest Stewardship Council certification.
