I bought a set of bamboo kitchen utensils and I love them. I call them my sboons. They replace wooden spoons perfectly. When I first saw them in the store I couldn't believe they were not wood. They are very strong, and the grain of bamboo being very tight, they don't stain or damage as much as my old regular wooden spoons. I am delighted. I see plenty of uses possibles where bamboo would replace wood, the lathing in the walls for example.
