Not only is one of our former Live Earth colleagues, Andrea Robinson, leading the greening efforts for the DemocraticDNC green convention National Convention in Denver, they have added a link out to the Live Impact Carbon Calculator to their website, giving people the opportunity to learn more about their carbon footprint and make commitments to reduce their impact. The convention organizers are also challenging each state's delegations to see who can offset the highest percentage of their travel. From the Convention Website, where you can read more about their greening efforts:

Carbon Calculator

The convention is making it easy for attendees to offset the impact of their travel to the convention through a partnership with Native Energy, as well as implementing many of the same strategies that Live Earth used to "green" our concerts.

And in case you were wondering, we've reached out to the organizers of the Republican National Convention to encourage them to set up similar systems. Here's some information on what the RNC is doing to green the Republican Convention in Minneapolis/ St. Paul....We'll let you know when we hear back from the RNC!
