ANNUAL-EVENT & RELATED ELECTRICITY BANKS
I've been involved in many recent yearly music festivals in Italy over the last decade and have attempted - without success - to involve organisers in a simple suggestion which could work in other nations. It's virtually a power/electricity bank - via wind farm and/or solar energy - active all-year-round where the local national power board, together with the relvant Event-Sponsors invest in the facility. They 'bank' the energy acquired over the year and give back to the Festival only the electricity necessary for it's annual requirements.
This would be a benefit to all parties involved as well as a huge promotional plus for the concept of green events. It could, further link similarly involved music-events sited around the world into a co-promotional venture.
