After living in Northern Ca. all my life I thought recycling, driving veggie oil cars and such were the norm. After a week long trip to Scottsdale Arizona, I see we have alot of work ahead of us. Peace to the people!

Live earth is an organization which alot of people have been waiting for. A means of voicing your opinion and knowing that someone is seriosly listening. A way to get to the people throughout the world and say our enviroment is in serious trouble. Corporate america needs to know that we will no longer accept excuses for the damage being done to our world due to greed, power and personnal wealth.There has to be better,cheaper and more enviromentally safe ways to run the industries. When I say cheaper I mean that the cost to our planet is to high a price to pay for progress. There has to be a better way and we need to find those ways before its to late.

Saving the world!

I volunteered at the Live Earth concert in New York, and it really made me re-think some of the things that I do every day. I just recently bought "1,001 Ways to Save the Earth." Great book to learn from :)

I would love to win this for my son who is a musician at school.

I'm a 66 year old Musician and I have played for the local "Step it Up" Rally" two years. I'm almost off the grid and live a simple life. I play a 1947 Gibson my Dad gave me when I was 8 years old. I would love to have this guitar.

Change now is what is important and change now is what needs to happen. Not after the storms have past but before the homes are gone. Before you kids are asking "whats a polar bear?" This is an awesome prize and who ever wins it should use it well.

I would love to win this guitar. I've always wanted to learn how to play and having the oppurtunity to win it could give me this chance. I look foward to helping my enviornment through the enviornmental club that I participate in and I am proud to say that each task we get accomplished helps our school become closer to becoming a "green school". Learning and exploring new ways to keep our marine ecosystem alive and healthy is another activity I do. I am proud to be given these oppourtunities and I think live earth should know the things (big or small) everyone is participating in to help our earth. Expanding our knowledge to our community, getting others involved, and having them realize what needs to be changed is the first step to working together to make a change.

At some point, humanity is going to have to learn the lesson that doing things "because you can" as opposed to whether it is the right thing to do or not has dire consequences. The days of "harmless" individual irresponsibility are over. A single action when multiplied by millions if not billions of identically "harmless" ones may doom the species. I hope we make it.

Cool guitar! Here in Bermuda we have a saying to help conserve water: "If it's yellow, let it mellow; if it's brown, flush it down!" (Bermuda has no lakes or rivers. We catch our drinking water on our roofs & store it in a tank under each house.That's why we're so water conscious.)

not to be a snot but carmen is a little off with her history; rock and roll did not start at woodstock. my generation gave the world rock and roll (a plus) and george bush (a big stinking minus!) it started with guys like buddy holly and bill haley and gene vincent. if the planets are with me and somehow i win the guitar, i pledge to learn how to play it! i have vowed to learn how to play something before i die, the guitar is a step up from the triangle! and carmen your heart is in the right place!
