I commend the Live Earth program. The way I see it is that everything we do, speak of & believe have an enormous impact on the world around us. By this I mean by being responsible human beings, for all our actions toward Mother Earth...I now believe in co-existing with her instead of always conquering & controlling her, does she not teach us when we watch and observe her peacefully. How we speak about her...all the fear being instilled and negativity has a great impact as well, and buying into everything that does not serve a greater purpose. I recognize change has to happen, I only pray for more simplicity in the world. What impact does all the large homes have on the environment...does it not take more of everything to have them, maintain them? Does it not make more since to reduce the impact, to reduce it in all areas of our lives...how about LESS IS MORE? Smaller homes can give us more quality/community/family/garden areas/open spaces (land)for our children of the future/water available/less electricity required-therefore less demand on all our energy resources, more of everything if we begin to live by the motto of LESS IS MORE, SMALLER IS BIGGER. I commend all for the great efforts being made, the creation of green policies. Now,I challenge everyone to think about this, to include it in the green policies of home building (real estate/building industry).
Can we as the United States begin to role-model this too as a new avenue to freedom & PEACE. If the want/need of the individual/society is not as great, then the impact automatically reduces. We used to stand for not only personal equality but pride in our quality & the integrity from it...how can we return to this inner wealth?

TIME TO PAY ATTENTION!

Tonight September 23 2007, i watched Live Earth compilation concert in Indonesia's Metro TV news channel.

I saw and felt the message. I just thinking Why do we should be so difficult to shout about this warnings?. Living in a climate corrosive megapolistic habit in Jakarta, realizes me that there are polluting culture going aound the worlds, in nations, which develops paralell with increasing human population.

Even though most Indonesians would just see the 'fun' part of the concert, regarding their english comprehension lmitations; but still, i as a citizen of the most biodiversitized nature of Indonesia definitely need to pay attention on what's going.

And the most important is to spread the words, to take actions... now.

before it is too late.

Just watched the show from philippine MTV. i found it very expressive and very important to make people on earth realise that we must be consciencius about the danger man is facing now. Thanks to vice president Gore and his staff. The idea is genious and i wish people understand the message for good. To protect our environment is to secure our life. We all belong to a same boat and when it sinks, we will all desapear. The Lord gave us life to live not to distroy it. Greenery and animals are in title to be protected because we have to share life with them.

I totally understand the dire situation that our earth is facing. It makes a lot of sense to start paying more attention to whats really at stake in this world today. My greatest respects go to the live earth community and thier efforts to try and make it a better place to live, ''while we have that option''.
