Train for your 6K Run or Walk with Active!

Live Earth has teamed up with Active Networks to offer you free training plans to prepare for the Live Earth Run for Water on April 18th. The beneficial tips are written by Coach Jenny Hadfield and will help you regardless of your current level.

This 8-week program includes three to four run sessions a week, beginning with 20 minutes and building up to 50 minutes. The 6K run program also incorporates cross-training and rest days to allow your body to acclimate to the progression of the plan. In addition to the workout program, this training plan provides fun Live Earth tips on how you can help preserve the planet and solve the water crisis.
This program is meant to get you ready and in-shape for running or walking the 6K, as well as bring awareness to the global water crisis.
