Founded by Sadhguru in 1992, the Isha Foundation is a "non-religious, not-for-profit, public service organization, which addresses all aspects of human well being." Operating in over 150 city-based centers, and benefiting from the work of over 250,000 volunteers, The Foundation employs various activities to help them achieve their mission of "cultivating human potential." The Foundation also initiates wide-spread human service projects, including one that focuses on restoring the environment, known as Project Green Hands.
