Video from the forum is now available to watch below

Today the Obama Administration is holding its first-ever Youth Clean Energy Forum with youth leaders from around the country. The event will be hosted at the White House on Wednesday from 4 - 7pm EST, and will also be webcast to young people across the country at here.

Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Energy Secretary Steven Chu, EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, and others will reiterate the need for a serious comprehensive energy plan that puts America back in control of its energy future. Transitioning to clean energy will create jobs, enhance national security and help protect our environment for generations to come.

Don’t worry if you didn’t get a coveted invite. The forum will be webcast live at http://www.whitehouse.gov/live and will be open to the public through Facebook with a live discussion board, where a White House application will allow the public to watch and discuss the event live. The White House will also be keeping up with the chat, taking questions, and incorporating feedback from chat participants during the event.
