FRIENDS OF LIVE EARTH

We created the Friends of Live Earth program in response to inquiries from hundreds of cities and organizations around the world wanting to be part of the global movement to combat the climate crisis in 2007. In 2007 and 2008, there were over 10,000 events in 132 countries.

Friends of Live Earth gives local communities, NGOs and individuals the opportunity to host small or large, public or private events. Once you register an event, you'll receive a toolkit which will help you host a great event: event ideas, videos, "green" guidelines, planning checklists, and a way to invite your guests online.

You'll also be invited to join the Friends of Live Earth social network where you'll get regular updates and additional materials (including films and logos) for use at your event.
