Live Earth is the global broadcast and video partner for Twestival on February 12, 2009. Twestival is organized 100% by volunteers in hundreds of cities around the world and 100% of the money raised from these events will go directly to support charity: water projects. Live Earth will feature video submissions from Twestival volunteers and participants as well as footage from the 140+ events on February 12th at Live Earth Video (http://video.liveearth.org).
Live Earth has a vibrant community of twitter followers, several of whom are planning Twestival events around the world. Live Earth supports innovative uses of technology and community events (especially for global, simultaneous events) that bring people together around key environmental issues.
