The Dow Live Earth Run for Water Bali was announced this week at the Culture and Tourism Department on Balairung.

Nearly 100 members of the media attended the hour-long press conference.

The event was topped off by an acoustic performance by Slank, one of Indonesia's most famous rock bands, to a great response.

"The six-kilometer run is a symbolic of those people who have to look for water as far as six kilometers," Slank vocalist Kaka said to the media.
