It’s nice of us to set aside a commemorative day for our beautiful planet, but really everyday should be Earth Day. There are so many events and ways you can get involved to spread the word.

In celebration of this great day, here are some cool things from around the web:

  • NASA presents images of Earth captured by cameras aboard the International Space Station
  • Google Earth Day logos through the years
  • Join the WE Campaign and Repower America this Earth Day
  • Today is the first Earth Day in the Obama Administration. Click here to read Van Jones’ special live blogs all day today. (Van Jones is the Special Advisor for Green Jobs for the White House Council on Environmental Quality)
  • How are you helping the environment this Earth Day?

Next up? Before there was Earth Day, there was Arbor Day on April 24th, which was founded in 1872 to celebrate trees.
