Most of us hold a special place in our hearts for our local farmers' market.

The farmers' market provides you with the best and freshest food every week with a smile. Now it's your turn to help out your favorite market folk and try to win them some extra money.

Care2 and LocalHarvest.org are coming together to sponsor “Love Your Farmers Market” where you are given the opportunity to cast your votes. Each week one farmers' market will be randomly chosen to receive $250.

At the end of the summer, the market with the most votes will receive a pretty penny - $5,000 - and the four runners up will each receive $1,750. Think of all the wonderful things your local market could do with that money. So get out there to nominate and cast your vote!
