green citiesFor the first time in history, more people live in urban cities than in small cities.

This has a massive effect on the fight against climate change. In many ways it is up to the efforts of those within these highly populated urban areas to set the example for the sustainability effort globally.

A new report by Living Cities looks into this and works through to answer just how urban sustainability efforts can and must drive America’s climate change policies.

The “Green Cities” report works to showcase and support the innovative ways in which cities are creating a fair green economy. The report features interviews and conversations with the best and the brightest thinkers in the field (Van Jones, President Obama, etc). “Green Cities” featured sections about jobs, transportation and the many challenges major cities must overcome.

It really is an interesting report and a good read!
