Our congratulations to Al Gore for getting the Nobel Peace Prize for the great work he has done to help this planet. No other individual has worked more on this issue. Well deserved prize. We are very happy that he was well recognized.

I am so incredibly happy that Al Gore was choosen! In my opinion there was no other choice. I am so proud to say that I was alive when this wonderful man finally gave the world a kick in the butt that it needed to start to heal it! Maybe someday we could meet. That would be cool. :) But for now I always grab any chance that I can to remind people to do what they can to help health this wonderful earth we call home. And of course remind them what Mr Gore said.

I'am very happy for the Nobel to Al Gore and IPCC, I think that this prize is also for all those people that fight for sustainability and peace. I hope that Al Gore will run for the USA presidential elections and that awerness in the world will increase. We need both things.

Greetings, I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations to Al Gore on winning the Nobel prize. This Is great. This is a very real cause that deserves a champion like Mr. Gore behind it. He serves these times well. But one good turn deserves another. We need to keep the momentum going and get behind this for real ! It's going to take all Humans everywhere to realy make a difference. Our planet can't heal itself so now its crunch time. Time to turn the heat up , on ourselves, our friends, families and on those who are in a position to impliment serious changes.Lets do this thing ! Thanks Mr Gore

I'm very happy he has been recognized. I would share this info with my brother but he would argue with me that global warming is a problem. and I cant afford to have my heart hurt anymore but heartless morons. Thank god for Al Gore. I hope the good people win.

My sincere congratulations to Vice-President Gore. I would vote for Mr. Gore for president this year, however it would probably be a mistake to put his hat in the ring ar this time. People would think all he has done would be for making him a viable candidate for president, which he is, in my opinion. Four more years, if he is interested.

This is a joyful surprise, to see peace connected to our environment! Which is a perfect connection of course, as peace in our hearts creates a healthy Earth. Congratulations Al and thank you for the sincerity and tenacity of your soul!

I am from the Philippines and I have seen the Inconvenient Truth during my Earth and Physical Science class just this semester. After viewing the film, I was really strucked and alarmed...it made me realize that I, too, will try to make a difference...I also want to be an advocate like Mr. Al Gore.

I am so happy the Nobel committee has realized the wonderful work that Al Gore has done to help this planet. This recognition will help to keep the momentum strong; this is what is needed for this very important issue.

Kudos to VP Gore. Shame on Florida, former Gov. Jeb Bush and Kathleen Harris. Can you imagine where our earth would stand had the truth occured in 2000? As president Gore, he would have prevented the buildup of gases Bush has promoted through tax breaks to his big business buddies and Saudi relatives. I teach biology and physics and educate my students daily on their responsibilities to be the future stewards of the planet. Also, to educate their parents and friends on the necessity of acting NOW to reduce greenhouse gases and live “green”. We use LiveEarth website to determine our carbon footprints and seek to lower each day. Hats off to VP Gore.
