Simple while making its point, the ad attacks “big oil” for spending “hundreds of millions of dollars to block clean energy” with “lobbyists, ads, even scandals.” It’s educational and yet ABC still won’t air it.

The United States has contributed significantly to global warming and in recent years has done very little to stop it. Now it’s your chance to demand that the next U.S. president commits to rising to the challenge of the climate crisis.

The first test will be the UN Climate Change Conference this December in Poland. If the next president goes and makes a strong statement about the U.S. rising to the challenge of the climate crisis, it could dramatically alter the course of the negotiations. But John McCain and Barack Obama will only go if they’re invited.
