By definition Energy Star buildings generally use 35% less energy and emit 35% less greenhouse gases then the average building.

wind-farm1Still wondering where that $787 billion economic stimulus is going? Well President Obama has a plan for where the green will go -- towards more green. Plenty of that money is going into many sustainable projects and improvements. Specifically renewable energy research, funding for a huge high speed rail system across the country, tax credits for wind power and efficient home improvements, and many many more.

For example, $8.4 billion will go to public transportation upgrades and $3 billion to make some much needed improvements on public parks and facilities.
