As many as 60 million people living in coastal regions of South Asia may become "climate refugees" by the end of the century, according to the latest report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

IPCC Chairman Dr. Rajendra K. Pachauri will speak at Live Earth India on December 7th, along with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. Dr. Pachauri and Mr. Gore were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for their contributions to the environment.
