TV Shows Are Going Green
When Jimmy Fallon took over NBC's "Late Night" show at the beginning of the month, he had one of the first studios on television that is entirely eco-friendly! "Everything is recycled," he told the The NY Post. "We are building everything with recycled metals and using all green lighting.”
Fox's hit series 24 is also going green! They have announced they are going carbon neutral, according to an announcement before the show earlier this week.
Producers are buying carbon offsets to compensate for the global warming emissions they're releasing with every car crash and explosion during filming. FOX Chairman Rupert Murdoch went on to say he wants to make FOX carbon neutral by next year.
If an action-packed hour-long program featuring terrorist-bashing, world-saving Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) can offset its carbon costs, it should be easy for anyone to do.
