The Live Earth concerts on 7/7/07 were the first steps toward a global solution to the climate crisis. Millions of you around the world have already answered the call and made personal commitments via the web and texts. It’s time now to convert those commitments into action - it's up to all of us to become the solution.

Live Earth has partnered with Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) around the world that will  help each of us translate our commitments into actions. Details on each of these partners follow. The Alliance for Climate Protection (US)
The newly-created Alliance will start a campaign to convince people from all walks of life about the importance, urgency and solvability of the climate crisis. They are working globally to advance the principles outlined in Live Earth's 7-Point Pledge. Check out their website at www.climateprotect.org for climate solutions, heroes, and inspiration.

Avaaz.org (180 Countries)
Avaaz.org is a global, member-driven online advocacy group at the forefront of the climate change movement. (Avaaz means "voice" in many languages.) The organization is based on a simple idea: that the views and values of the world's people should inform global decision-making. Since it launched this January, its members have become a powerful voice on issues like poverty and human rights -- and, most of all, climate change, with nearly 400,000 members from more than 180 countries signing its petition to world leaders. This massive petition helped push climate change to the top of the G8 agenda, and has been hand-delivered to top officials from Germany to Brazil (making international headlines every step of the way).
