TOMS' One for One Shoe Program
TOMS is one of those feel good companies. In 2006, Blake Mycoskie started a shoe "project" with the dream to provide less fortunate children with shoes in Ethiopia, South Africa and in Argentina. The "project" is now one of the fastest growing shows companies in the world.
For every pair of shoes that are purchased one pair is given to a child in need. TOMS is "saving the world, one shoe at a time," according to Mycoskie. Currently, over 10,000 pairs of shoes have been given to children in Argentina and 50,000 kids have received pairs in South Africa through the purchases of remarkable costumers.
This year, TOMS plans to give out 200,000 sustainable pairs. Please help the cause and purchase a pair at http://www.tomsshoes.com/
