We've heard about Green roofs. Why not green walls? Think of green walls as bio-walls or living walls that are either free standing or they are built into an existing wall. The benefits of such addition to an office or home are incredible and the construction of one is easier than you think.

The general idea of these vertical gardens are that the roots are anchored to a wall or a structure and water is free to flow throughout the area to feed moss, vines and other plants. If the wall is living, and not just a facade, it can actually filter out many indoor contaminants while also providing freshly oxygenated air. These plants also help control humidity and temperature.
