The Sierra Club released its annual list of the greenest colleges in the U.S.
The University of Colorado at Boulder topped the list. The top ten included two Pacific Northwest schools (UW-Seattle and Evergreen State College) and three University of California campuses (Santa Cruz, Berkeley, and Los Angeles.
All the schools were judged on eight categories: efficiency, energy, food, academics, purchasing, transportation, waste management, and administration. How did your alma mater do?
Nearly two-thirds of university applicants said that a school's environmental report card would influence whether they would enroll, according to a survey by the Princeton Review.
