Live Earth's blog

We became an environmental science school 3 years ago and in that time we have made many changes schoolwide. We are going to help our whole school district go green. Read more for a range of things that can easily be done at schools.

...but after watching Live Earth I was really inspired to do something about global warming.

Producing 2.2 pounds of beef generates as much greenhouse gas as driving a car non-stop for 3 hours, according to a recent study. I thought that having a club at my high school that's based on environmental awareness would be perfect!

On 7.7.7, I had students from different schools coming to my room and I gave them a few aticles related to Climate and made them discuss with each other....

Now you can turn your out-of-date apparel into something good. Send that green and pink GoreTex jacket you wore in the '80s along with that screaming yellow Colorado suit you used to ice climb in to Gear4Good!
