Following up on his wildly successful 2006 book "An Inconvenient Truth," "Our Choice" goes into more detail about the solutions we can pursue to prevent the irreversible damage to our planet, as opposed to just making us aware of the problem.

Earlier this month we asked you to join Live Earth and The Art of Living Foundation in helping to plant 100 million trees in support of the United Nations Millennium Campaign.
We hope you'll join us and more than 60 million others this October 17th to October 19th and stand up to draw attention to the UN Millennium Development Goals.
Last year, 43 million people took part and stood up and took action around the world to bring attention to the Art of Living Foundation’s Millennium Development Goals, which are to:

Join Live Earth in support of the Art of Living Foundation/ Stand Up Take Action's Mission Green Earth Campaign. Eight years ago, at the Millennium Summit, 189 country heads committed to work together “to build a safer, more prosperous and equitable world for all by 2015.” Mission Green Earth is one program in support of the seventh goal of the campaign: to ensure environmental sustainability.
This year, participants can show their support by joining Mission Green Earth in planting trees EVERYWHERE. The campaign is already active in India and in 88 other countries, and has a goal of planting 100 million trees before October 16th. It is said that the average person utilizes the oxygen of 16 trees to survive his/ her lifespan. Let’s work together and take action between now and October 16th to plant 100 million native, locally appropriate trees to support environmental sustainability.
